The National ICT Awards 2026 celebrate ingenuity and forward-thinking brilliance across Botswana's technology landscape. They shine a spotlight on the trailblazers who push the boundaries of possibility — transforming ideas into reality and delivering ground-breaking solutions.
The Awards culminate at the National ICT Summit & Awards Gala on 6 November 2026 at BA ISAGO University, Botswana's premier annual celebration of ICT excellence, bringing together over 500 stakeholders from government, industry, and academia.

A distinguished panel of ICT, legal and industry experts responsible for evaluating every nomination across the eleven award categories.
Noble Katse is the founder and Chief Consultant of Griffiths & Felix, a leading ICT research, advisory and project management consultancy. Noble has extensive experience in the communication sector, having served 10 years driving commercial business at BTCL, 18 years in regulatory development at BOCRA, and 6 years in ICT consultancy. He is instrumental in shaping the communication sector in Botswana, notably influencing growth in infrastructure development, economic regulation, mobile financial services and facilitating regulatory transformation of the broadband internet market. His areas of competency and impact are business development, universal access, project management, business modelling and strategic planning.
Noble has immensely contributed to strategic growth in the Botswana water sector, having served on the Board of Directors of Water Utilities Corporation for close to 10 years. He led the utility in its operational turnaround and delivery of mega-projects valued at over P5 billion between 2021 and 2024.
Noble is a keen golfer and committed practitioner of modern Budo.
Nelson Disang is a technology and digital transformation executive with 22 years of experience in the ICT industry. He has held senior leadership roles across telecommunications, energy and technology consulting, with expertise spanning ICT strategy, digital transformation, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, data and analytics, and technology governance. He is passionate about leveraging technology, innovation and effective leadership to solve business challenges, improve organisational performance and create sustainable value.

Gloria Molebatsi is an ICT educator and digital skills advocate with over 25 years of experience in ICT education. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing from Teesside University, UK, and a diploma in secondary education. Passionate about empowering young people through technology, she champions digital literacy, innovation and girls' participation in ICT, and continues to use technology to create learning and development opportunities in her community.
Bio to follow
David is an experienced cybersecurity, cloud, IT infrastructure and data protection professional with over 15 years of experience in designing, securing, managing and governing complex environments.
He combines strong technical expertise with strategic experience in cybersecurity operations, cloud infrastructure, digital forensics, cyber risk management, IT governance and data protection. His work includes developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies aligned with ISO 27001, the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT 2019 and GDPR principles, as well as the Botswana Data Protection Act.
David's areas of expertise include cybersecurity strategy and governance, SOC operations, threat detection and intelligence, incident response, digital forensics, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, cloud and infrastructure security, data protection, privacy management, VMware virtualisation, data centre architecture, disaster recovery, IAM/PAM and security automation.
Overall, David Mogapi is a multidisciplinary cybersecurity and infrastructure professional who bridges the gap between technical security, IT infrastructure, governance, risk, compliance, data protection and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Kesego is a versatile IT infrastructure professional and technical advocate. As a technical team member at Spectrum Analytics — a managed services provider delivering enterprise-grade technology solutions — he specialises in enterprise-level infrastructure, complex data centre migrations and high-availability storage networks, bringing a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to demanding technical environments. Beyond his corporate and engineering work, he is deeply invested in the local ecosystem: managing tech community events through GDG Gaborone, reviewing regional digital services, and designing robotics and coding programmes to inspire youth across Africa. He is also passionate about building local digital products tailored to the Botswana market.

Lorato Kgosidiile, LLB, is an Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public, a Certified Security Associate, a Certified Data Protection Officer (CDPO) Trainer, and an Associate Attorney at Botlhole Law Group. She serves as a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to several organisations in Botswana and works across data protection, technology and cyber law, regulatory compliance, corporate governance and commercial law. Lorato is also the Lead of the DPO Africa Network and a Research Volunteer with Privacy Hub Africa, contributing to research and policy development on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and data protection. She is currently pursuing a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at Liverpool John Moores University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of Suffolk.
