BITS Annual General Meeting — Reconvened
Notice is hereby given that the reconvened Annual General Meeting (AGM) of BITS will be held on 6 August 2026, 17:30–19:00hrs at Ba Isago University. The agenda includes adoption of previous minutes, the President's report, the 2025–2026 activity report, presentation and approval of the financial statements, and the election/re-election of board members.
Proxy voting: if you are unable to attend, you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. Proxy forms must be submitted by 23 July 2026, 16:30hrs.
National ICT Awards 2026 — Nominations Opening
BITS, in collaboration with its partners, announces the opening of nominations for the National ICT Awards 2026 under the theme "Recognizing Excellence, Driving Transformation: Shaping Botswana's Digital Future". Nominations run from 8 July to 11 September 2026. The Awards Gala is set for 6 November 2026 at Ba Isago University.

TICON Africa Conference 2025
BITS participated in the TICON Africa Conference 2025 in Accra, Ghana — one of the continent's leading platforms for ICT professionals, policymakers, and industry leaders. BITS President Tshepho Bathai served as a panelist on AI Infrastructure and Capacity Building in Africa, while Secretary General Malebogo Khanda-Wiktor moderated a panel on Women in ICT representing Botswana alongside delegates from Ghana, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
