Renew Your Membership
Keep your BITS membership active. Annual renewal ensures you remain a paid-up member and retain all membership rights and benefits.
Renewal Process
Members are required to renew their membership annually. According to the BITS Constitution (Article 4.5), the following rules apply to renewal:
- Members must renew within three months of a renewal notice being served upon them
- It is the member's own responsibility to ensure the renewal notice is received and acted upon — not the Executive Council's
- Upon renewal, the member becomes a paid-up member of the Society
- Failure to renew within the prescribed period may result in membership being suspended for up to twelve months
- After twelve months of suspension, continued membership is reviewed by the Executive Council
